Basics.

No time for this. Back from coffee fix with Ros & ding. Sweet of them coming gardens to find me for dinner.

Black hair for now. No more red fuzz. Lovin' how hair treatment makes my hair smooth like tofu. Back on the bed for one day of battle at 8:30am sharp. Gn guise.

Seoul; Namsan Seoul Tower

Set off another day for more exploration. Went to the Korea post to mail back our facial products. Our luggages were too heavy.

Back to ewha to meet up with couple of friends for lunch.

Some local humble food stall:

Local dumpling soup with rice pasta:
I could've imagine having a Korean mom cooking this soup for me in the cold weather.

Up for dessert next, the mad awesome patbingsu!! :
It's like the best dessert ever, we can eat this forever. However. It could've been a little cheaper. :(

Climb up the steepest roads & we manage to catch the night view of Seoul. It was really romantic. Couldn't find any better place with your lover like this.

"Clarity" mashup into "Harlem Shake"

Seoul; Ewha University

Gahhh I cannot finish blogging all my photos. It just gets more & more as the days goes. I'm still not done with Seoul. So here's a little more,

Kinda missing Seoul alr. Comfort food like this in the apartment is badly missed:
Went to the e-Mart trying to find the non spicy instant noodles due to my laosai. & it felt sooooo good.

However, nothing stops us from getting the ambience of Seoul's night life. Finally it's time to party.
Welcome to hongdae's TGIF:

It was a total new experience & most clubs there open up till 6am. Couldn't believe we partied till the lights are on & they've got my songs there too. I will never forget how the dj spin 'City of dreams' & I was like, mad. Cabbed back and the girls still made breakfast before sleeping. How crazy is that. I forgot what exactly happened but I guess it was some daily business shopping & eating at I-park mall. Oh, did I not mention we watched nat-geo all the time? Heh.

Got ourselves refreshed once more, it's time for more shopping. Ewha university was another tourist attraction.
They've got the best fruit ice pops!! :

& the kiwi flavoured was, gooooood:

Idk what's this called in Korean but it's veg pancake with udon at the top. This was equally good. :

Ewha University:

If only we have such pretty schools in Singapore. It's like a garden for students there to study.

Continued our tour at Sinchon.

It's a place filled with eateries. Something about Koreans is that, they've for vegs everywhere in their food. Hence, meat is kinda expensive, even food like fries chicken. Nevertheless everyone should try because their fried chix taste better than KFC.

That should be for today, more Seoul photos coming up! Goodnight.

Seoul; Hongdae

Hongdae was another shopping paradise. Streets & streets of shops. Even the heavy downpour couldn't stop us from shopping along the streets. There goes my birks in that sewage water.

This was good:

Rested our legs here:

The food sucks & so is the service. Everything is sold out & the guy's face looked crap. Still, one cliche cafe you should visit. A cuppa hot mocha to warmth the hands. (:

Couple of friends came to find us to have dinner. Shall continue this entry another time.

Seoul; Palace sightseeings & Myeongdong

Woke up early to neighbouring cafes to get sandwiches & caffeine dosage. They have cafes like everywhere. Time to roll.

Went to the wrong palace thanks to ding, fortunately we made it in time to the real palace.

& now, the magnificent palace:

The Korean palace didn't wow me. I thought they didn't quite maintain their history well. There ain't much to see, & their workmanship didn't awe me either. Maybe it was burnt down before by the japs, most of their buildings were just painted with newly brushed colours. Ohwells.

Ginseng chix is here! :

Myeongdong:

Met up with Raymond Peh for dinner & shop around myeongdong for the first time. So nice to have friends around Korea when we get free tours most of the time. They've got my F21 there, whoop whoop! Summer sales was really good. They made me buy a lil too much. :(
